Anthony Carmody – Director & Principal Consultant
A third generation Queenslander I grew up in what would now be described as the inner city of Brisbane. After finishing high school, I found it difficult to find a career path that interested me. I worked in various customer facing jobs while experimenting with film, video and electronic instruments. After a friend suggested I take a look at a new thing called the Internet I found myself shortly thereafter a hotly sought-after web developer. 12 months later I was working in a formal software development team in Sydney and no long after that I was offered executive and consulting roles.
My career has seen projects spanning a plethora of industries. I have been lucky enough to travel throughout Australia and the world assisting with numerous projects at all stages of the project lifecycle. Along the way I have gathered some really useful tricks that I like to share with those who will listen.
I keep my technical skills sharp running my own web service infrastructure on FreeBSD Unix.
I am a parent, business consultant and hobby farmer. My family and I reside on in a 130 year old farm house on a 50 acre farm in the Fassifern region.
